WHAT IS SALVATION ?
Basic Text: " And she shall bring forth a son , and shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins . " ( Matthew 1 : 21 )
Central truth : At all times human beings have always sought to live an independent life of God , without worrying about the need for salvation , mainly because he was unaware that he was lost and needed a Savior.
" For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost . " ( Luke 19 : 10 )

INTRODUCTION
A human perspective salvation would be the intervention of someone or action to rid oneself or save yourself from a situation that involves risk to the person , this can be in all areas such as : financial , emotional , physical , professional and material. But within the context of the holy bible , salvation is the one and only God's intervention in favor of the human being to : save, redeem , release , heal, transform, restore , revive and brighten the spirit , soul and body of man which is captive and dead in trespasses and sins .
BECAUSE I NEED OF SALVATION ?
The answer is very simple , when sin entered the world condemned humans to eternal death , sin destroyed all such purity that was in man. If man was created in the image of God, sin has caused this was completely disfigured and he was spiritually dead , making the man away from God , or man needs salvation because without her man is eternally condemned.
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through him . "
" Whoever believes in him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already , because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God . " ( John 3 : 17-18 )

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY SALVATION ?
Salvation allows us to be free from eternal damnation , enjoy the life of God here on earth and also enjoy eternal life with Jesus in Heaven .
"Do not your heart be troubled : ye believe in God , believe also in me . In my Father's house are many mansions : if it were not so, I would have told you . I go to prepare a place for you . And if I go and prepare a place , I will come again , and receive you unto myself , that where I am you may be also . " (John 14:1-3 )
WHAT THE PERSON NEEDS TO BE SAVED ?
Only believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior and in His death on the cross for our sins and so we are saved .
" And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved , and thy house . " ( Acts 16 : 31 )
CONCLUSION
Thanks to the great love of God , we have this feature through Jesus Christ , our Salvation is the greatest gift we have from God .
