Basic Text :

" But there is forgiveness with thee , that thou mayest be feared. " (Psalm 130 : 4 )

" For thou, Lord, art good , and ready to forgive , and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee . " (Psalm 86 : 5 )

" For if ye forgive men their trespasses , neither will your Father forgive you; " ( Matthew 6 : 14 )

" But if ye forgive not men their trespasses , neither will your Father forgive your trespasses . " ( Matthew 6 : 15 )

" And when ye stand praying , forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses . " ( Mark 11 : 25 )

" Before thirst for others a benign , merciful , forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you . " ( Ephesians 4 : 32 )

INTRODUCTION

This theme is one of the most important Bible because it is a subject matter from beginning to end by every word of God , let's dive into this topic and extract their blessings . Lives have been transformed by the simple fact forgive and many have been healed through forgiveness . Why does this happen ? What's behind the forgiveness ? What are the risks of not forgiving ? All this we will discover as we study the word of God .

The SIGNFICADO OF FORGIVENESS

We understand how forgiveness complete remission of transgression , iniquity and sin , forgiveness means that all our mistakes and offenses committed against God or people are erased . Sin is like a black mark on our souls and forgiveness is like a soaked sponge in Jesus' blood , tearing of our being every stain of sin .

There are some words in Hebrew and Greek that define forgiveness in great detail .

The Hebrew words are: Salah , NASA and Kapar .

Salah - is often translated " forgive " that reference is made to the forgiveness that God offers to the sinner , also gives rise to the word " SALAHÚ " which translates to " spray " , Leviticus 4:26 , 5:10, 1 Kings 8 : 30 , Ps 86:5 , Jer 31:34 .

NASA - means " up " , " upload " and " take the sin " that shows the intervention of God not only to forgive sin more also , raise and restore the person . Ex 32:32 , Ps 25:18 , 32:1 .

Kappar OR KIPER - means " make atonement " , " make reconciliation " and " cleanse " that reminds us of the mercy seat upon the ark of the covenant , also behind the idea of coverage. Deut 21:8 , Jer 18:23, Leviticus 1:4, 4:20, 35

The Greek words are: APHÍEMI and CHARIZOMAI

APHÍEMI - means " letting go " that brings us the idea of releasing people who owe us or offend us . Luke 6:30,31

CHARIZOMAI - means " to be gracious " , that teaches us to show God's grace to others , demonstrating to them love and compassion . Romans 8:32

GOD AND FORGIVENESS .

Seen through the word of God is forgiveness with God to be feared and that God is always a God ready to forgive anyone who leaves the repentant sin. God's forgiveness is aimed at complete restoration of man before Him and before others .

" Thee, forgive the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy , and as also forgiven this people from the land of Egypt until now . " ( Numbers 14 : 19 )

. " And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD And Nathan said unto David . , The LORD also hath put away thy sin: thou shalt not die " (II Samuel 12: 13)

Many times the Lord's people sinned and strayed from God's ways so that the Lord was very angry with these people and wanted to destroy them , but mercy always reach that generation forgiving sins and healing . Another thing we learned before God is that His love is always greater than our sin. Before we see the word as it is manifested the character of God , God is love and because of his great love he forgives us .

So far we see the divine forgiveness in context, but from now on we will deal with forgiveness in the human context.

WHY HAVE GOD FORGIVE ?

Usually when God gives us an order , He is not related to the details , we do not see God explaining all the details about the consequence of not forgiving . In basic text we see that if we do not forgive those who trespass against us , God will not forgive us , this means that we risk losing our salvation because of unforgiveness , but not only is this loss that we will experience in our lives , there is a list of things that will be happening in our soul and unforgiveness reveals that we have as our heart full of hurt , resentment , hatred , bitterness and pride, and because of these feelings and emotions , we risk also somatize diseases to our body .

THE DANGERS OF LACK OF FORGIVENESS .

In the absence of forgiveness there is great danger and many losses , it attracts all kinds of evil for our souls and our bodies , unforgiveness puts us under the yoke of the devil .

In Matthew 18:23-35 Jesus tells the story of a man who had a servant who owed ​​him 10,000 talents and could not afford it , but this man humbled himself before his Lord , then the Lord forgave you. The servant went away for being gay forgiven debt and found a fellow servant who owed him 100 denarii and choked ordering him to pay 100 pence , the fellow , but he humbled himself for patience , everything would be paid , but not the other wanted to listen to him and threw him in prison . Unforgiveness makes our existence is limited to only dwell on the problems and live according to them , we risk losing our salvation and also to lose all the blessings of God for us and experience various kinds of diseases in our body.

A woman came for prayer and was revealed to man from God the reason of the disease , that woman had pain in the bones , as if he had bone diseases . There are people who are very ill due to accumulation of bad feelings and soul are withering away day after day and sinking to their lives . ENEMIES OF FORGIVENESS

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF FORGIVENESS ?

We know that the act of forgiveness is a noble attitude and only people who bother to look more like Jesus does this as a lifestyle , I say this in the context of the body of Christ , for even in many religions that are not Christian , they practice forgiveness because they know their benefits . Forgiveness is a release of our soul , so that person has redeemed his offense, that is, it is not nothing . Forgiveness is a decision and is not tied to feelings and emotions , this part of the free will of the person who understands that forgiveness is also healing to your soul .

" For if ye forgive men their trespasses , neither will your Father forgive you; " ( Matthew 6 : 14 )

FORGIVING YOURSELF

" There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. " ( Romans 8:1 )

" Who will bring any charge against God's elect ? It is God who justifies . " ( Romans 8 : 33 )

Two things that the devil uses to make it difficult to release the soul , two little words that have a terrible spiritual weight , " CONDEMNATION " E " CHARGE " . Even being forgiven by Jesus , the devil will always accuse us of anything, so we stay under the yoke of " GUILT " . We'll hardly feel forgiven us , but we have to take our forgiveness by faith . The self-condemnation is a strategy of the devil to keep us connected to our sins and to be free of this destructive feeling the need to forgive ourselves, self forgiveness takes away the unnecessary burdens that guilt brings upon us, if we go to the Lord for forgiveness , confessing our faults and humbling ourselves before Him , then we are forgiven and so liberate our souls from evil. Then we release forgiveness ourselves as protection against prosecution and condemnation of the devil .

LEARNING THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS IN THE LIFE OF JOSEPH .

I believe that no other biblical story can illustrate so well the power of forgiveness than the life of Joseph, the man was already showing early in his family, he was the favorite of his father , because he was the son of old age and was the son of the now Raquel preferred deceased wife of Jacob

" Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children , because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors . " ( Genesis 37 : 3 )

We know that when we suffer injustice our heart is marked with the traumas that caused us grief , Joseph was now free , living well , eating the good and the best , but his heart was needing to release forgiveness.

The dreams of Pharaoh predicted a great famine throughout all the land and when the famine came Joseph's family reached Canaan , circumstances forced them to seek food in Egypt and Joseph when they were , was that he was dispatching food , but his brothers did not recognize him . HE IS REVEALED .

" And Joseph said unto his brethren , I am Joseph , my father yet live ? And his brethren could not answer him , for they were troubled at his presence .

I ask you , Come near unto me: And Joseph said unto his brethren . And they came near , then he said : I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt " ( Genesis 45:3,4 ) .

Here he does not hide anymore, he would never want to have a relationship with his brothers again, but he has chosen to reveal to them and show them the great mercy and love of God .

He comforts HEART OF BROTHERS .

" Now therefore be not grieved , nor do you weigh in your eyes because ye sold me hither : for to preserve life , God sent me before you . " ( Genesis 45:5 )

Thus shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive , I pray thee , the trespass of thy brethren , and their sin , because they did evil to you : now therefore , we pray thee , forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father . And Joseph wept when they spoke to him .

After his brothers also came and fell down before him , and said , Behold , we be thy servants .

And Joseph said unto them , Fear not: perhaps I 'm in the place of God ?

Ye meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to do as it is this day, to save much people alive .

Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your children. And he comforted them, and spake according to the heart of them . " ( Genesis 50:15-21 )

With all this we can see how a person who had everything to live whole life embittered and resentful , Joseph chose to forgive his brothers and further sustains them for the rest of his life .

PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS , HOW ?

This prayer is very simple, but very powerful in its effects and all that are willing to forgive will surely live and experience tremendous things from God and enjoy healing in his soul , here is a sample prayer that we can do to release paras others forgiveness.

" And forgive us our debts , as we forgive our debtors ; " ( Matthew 6 : 12 )

We can pray,

Father in the name of your son Jesus , I ask you to forgive me for my heart feelings of hatred , anger, rage, hurt, rejection and resentment against (name of the person who hurt him ) , because he ( a) did me wrong (say what the person did to you) , and now before thee O God I want this moment to release forgiveness for (name of person ) and say I forgive this person for everything you did for me , and I release you to be happy and blessed ( a) , I ask that heal my heart of every brand that stood for this evil and help me keep my soul healed in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene . We know that God is faithful to perform far beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us . If we follow what Jesus teaches us with regard to the forgiveness we have a generation of people healed and restored with a powerful anointing to heal other lives . The curing time is now going to take possession of all that God has for us .
